Cross-institutional studies within the Climate Change Education Collaboration Network have progressed successfully. During the 3rd period, 26 students enrolled in courses at Hanken and three at the University of Helsinki. Registration for the 4th period courses will open in Sisu at the beginning of February.

In the 4th period, the course offering includes two Climate Studies courses from Hanken, three courses from Aalto University, and eight courses from the University of Helsinki, in addition to five MOOC courses.

Further information is available on the Climate Studies website and in the University of Helsinki newsletter of 9 January 2026, “Cross-studies with Aalto University School of Business and Hanken foster future climate expertise.”

The cross-institutional study courses in Hanken and Aalto are listed in this newsletter. Please note any minimum prerequisite requirements. Some courses may have a limited number of places available for cross-study students.

These courses hopefully provide new perspectives on climate change and sustainable development.
