Are you looking for a traineeship or a summer job? Or do you need help finding a job or exploring career opportunities?
Career Services organises the HelsinkiUNI Career Day on Friday 23.1. virtually. During the events, you will have the opportunity to learn how to find a job in Finland, get information about career opportunities in Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and University of Helsinki, and hear about Akava's Start to Finnish online course. The event offers a flexible way to receive up-to-date information and discover new directions for your studies and career – all conveniently from your own device.

9.00 – 9.45 How to Find a job in Finland (link to Zoom)
On the agenda in this session: English bubble, Finnish firewall? Understanding the Finnish labour market.
Where and how to look for jobs? Useful strategies and common misperceptions.
What are they looking for? Preparing your CV and cover letter for the Finnish job market.

10.20 - 11.00 Employer Presentations: Natural Resources Institute Finland and University of Helsinki (link to Zoom)
At the event Natural Resources Institute Finland and the University of Helsinki will introduce themselves and talk about the career opportunities they offer to students and recent graduates. See the employer introductions on the JobTeaser event and check out their JobTeaser profiles. Metsä Group will present in Finnish at 10 - 10.20, while Luke and the University of Helsinki will present in English from 10.20 - 11.00.
13.00 - 13.20 Info session: Start to Finnish - Akava's online course (cancelled)
11.00 - 14.00 One-to-one meetings by appointment (fully-booked)
You can book a time for a one-on-one discussion with an expert from Luke. The last day to book an appointment is 20.1. or until or slots have been fully-booked. Please note: the appointments for Luke are already full.
You can choose to participate in both days' programmes or just in individual sessions - each session have their own registration. The events are open to all students and recent graduates of the University of Helsinki.
