Apply to be a tutor for degree and exchange students starting in August 2026!
The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences is now seeking tutors whose task will be to introduce new students to the university, their field of study, and fellow students at the beginning of the 2026 academic year. A taxable compensation of €170 + €10 (the additional €10 is for printing costs) will be paid for tutoring bachelor's programs, while tutoring for master's programs and exchange students will receive a taxable compensation of €200 + €10.
Anyone who has previously tutored domestic or international students can serve as a tutor, but new tutors are also welcome!
Attendance is mandatory for the tutor training and orientation week, so participation in tutor training during an internship is not possible. Please also check before applying that the schedules (see below) suit you. In the fall, the tutor must be available for at least the duration of the orientation week from August 24 to August 30, 2026. There will not be time for personal work shifts during the orientation week.
If more applications are received than the number of tutors needed, a selection will be made based on the open responses in the application form. Therefore, please fill out your answers carefully! The results of the application will be communicated to all applicants via email in early March.
