Dare to speak Swedish campaign
The year 2025 had the theme Year of Language Awareness at the University of Helsinki, which has inspired the Dare to Speak Swedish campaign that will run throughout the academic year. The aim of the campaign is to strengthen the position of Swedish at the university and to encourage both students and staff to use Swedish in everyday life. Languages are learned through interaction and speaking!
Check out Moodle: Get practical tips on how to use Swedish on the canpaigns Moodle-site. Every two weeks or so, we will publish a new challenge to encourage you to use Swedish. Most of the challenges are for everyone, but some are specifically aimed at staff and students. Please mark them as done in Moodle!
