Our services are available to you right from the beginning of your studies and up to about one year after graduation. Metsä Group will give a presentation in Finnish at 10.00–10.20 but is also hiring non-Finnish speakers.

11.00 - 14.00 One-to-one meetings by appointment
You can book a time for a one-on-one discussion with an expert from Luke. The last day to book an appointment is 20.1. or until or slots have been fully-booked.
You can choose to participate in both days' programmes or just in individual sessions - each session have their own registration. The events are open to all students and recent graduates of the University of Helsinki.

Career Counsellors on Campus
Are you wondering what your next step could be in terms of future or career planning? Would you like someone to listen to your thoughts or provide tips on where to find additional information to support your considerations? Come and meet a career counsellor on campus without an appointment!
You are welcome to any campus, regardless of where you usually study. The meeting is limited to a maximum of 20 minutes. We ask you kindly to be prepared to wait for your turn.

Drop-In Support for Job Search (fi, en)
Are you seeking guidance on how to apply for a job or traineeship position? Do you need practical tips for job searching or drafting your CV, job application, or LinkedIn profile, or would you like to get feedback on them? Welcome to our Drop-in support for job search on Zoom!
No registration needed, individual time slots 20 minutes each. The Zoom link and instructions for attending are available on the Career Services' Guidance and Counselling page.

Traineeship guidance by appointment (fi, en, sv)
At the Traineeship guidance you can ask any questions you may have about your traineeship and talk about your situation together with a Career services' traineeship specialist.
You can book an appointment if you are thinking about the following:
- you plan on doing a traineeship, but you are not sure where to start the process
- you need tips on how and where to look for traineeship positions
- you wonder how the traineeship subsidy works and how you can apply for it.
The duration of a guidance session is 30 minutes. Book your session on Vihta. New appointment times are opened on Vihta at around 10.30 - 11.00. on the last Wednesday of the month.

Internationally, the JobTeaser career portal offers you access to more than 25,000 job and traineeship offers. You can find job and traineeship offers submitted through the joint website of Finnish universities by filtering the view by selecting University of Helsinki job ads - Targeted jobs. You can search for jobs that do not require Finnish language skills by selecting English as the advertisement language.
